The name LISTEC has been associated with the Broadcast Industry since 1967. In the mid '70's Listec added prompting to its distributed line of products. In 1984, sensing a need to produce a reliable, economical range of prompters and anticipating the electronic age, Listec entered into the direct manufacture of prompting systems, alongside its distributed line. In 1986, Listec Video was formed, devoting its energies exclusively to prompting.

	Listec leads with its innovative PromptBook and T/ST Series of 9", 11", 12", 15", 18" and 20" Flat-Panel Prompters. They are light, bright and easy to handle. Most Flat-Panel units are available with Listec's unique fold-down mirror/soft hood assembly (ideal for location work), or with traditional trapezoidal mirror/hood assembly. They mount equally well on conventional pan heads, robotic heads and jibs. Now there is no need for tripod upgrades — Vu-Lite and Spectra-Lite weigh in at only 8 to 35 pounds. Smiles will be more evident on location!
	Listec continues to maintain its lead with its A-Series of monitor prompters, from the popular A-2009, 9" portable unit, through the A-2012 and A-2015, 12" and 15" series of portable and studio prompters. Our monitor prompters are reliable, lightweight in their class and easy to install.
	Listec was on the leading edge with the development of the first electronic prompter in 1985 and continued innovating with its A-6000DOS and the truly unique A-6000WIN Windows Prompter.
